Step by Step

Just thought might be interesting for you guys to see once in a while how I work ^^ I always love seeing how other artists work... x3

Now some descriptions about the pic:

1. lineart: My, of course! Id be lost without those lines!! xP

2. basic coloring. I made a basic coloring with an individual layer for each color I used (Sometimes using two layers if it is too much as for example the metal-stuffs)

3. Now either I start shading right here and now, or I make the background. Decided for the bg here. It was fun making the whirling clouds x3

4. Crosses. WEll... nothing much to say... added some crosses on an exrta-layer.

5. Started shading. At first more the basics. I don't focus too much on how the color of the bg matches with my foreground.... Just start shading wildly xD

6. Finished shading!! W00T!! But as you see... it doesnt really fit with the sad background... so... Step 6!!! (Propably the one step that decides if a pic turns out good in the end or not xD Last 10% of the work make 80% of the whole picture!)

7. Finished version!! x3 Merged the figurelayers into one and duplicated it a few times. I colorized the upper layers with the hue and saturation filter into a blue-greenish figure (ALIEN!! xD) I decreased opplacity and turned it into soft light-mode. Added some more details and

~Voila! There you go!! xD
