I saw this Meme all over DA right now and somehow I felt like doing it too @_@

GOSH I WAS A N00B UP UNTIL LAST YEAR!! (Err, the year before last year... I'm still in 2009 somehow )

I won't allow comments as there is nothing much to say about this anyway If you have anything important you want to talk about this one, note me lol BUT I'd like to say a couple of things to the single pics I chose for the meme as I didn't just pic them randomly I have LOADS of pictures from when I was younger as my parents kept them all for some weird reason xD


1. My first colored picture of Deamond. Jupp, it IS supposed to be a guy, even though back then all my guys looked like girls xD The only difference between him and Ary (or Alundra back then) was the blue mark on his cheek (A circle instead of a cross back then.... I have NO clue why though xD) He's writing something there. I wrote a little story about Deamond and Ary beneath the drawing Gosh I was a cute kid O_o lol

2. During this time I was pretty into FinalFantasy... Even though I'm probably the only one who sees it, computergames helped me a lot to find my own style... Final Fantasy, Tales of Symphonia, Breath of Fire, Fire Emblem and later Generation of Chaos and Spectral Souls... I loved these character-drawings so much I wanted to create something equal in my own style still it took over parts of it (Did you notice? I always hid the second eye between the hair back then cause I was afraid of drawing it and then it was off anatomy xD)

3.I always loved dynamic poses This one is of an archer... My anatomy SUCKED back then!! I mean really SUCKED!! My bodies were like a pyramid... the head, with a body about 20 heads long and legs that each of them with 1,5 headsize-thickness lol Luckily that got WAY better in 2005 xD

4. Supposed to become a Christmas-Picture for a contest from a magazine but I never finished it... HOWEVER! It was my first lineart of a person standing sidewards!!!! YAY! I SUCK!! lol (Supposed to be Ary by the way...)

5. Ui~ This one is a really funny one!! It was done in June of 2004! Means I was 14 back then!! I drew this and found out a week later that there was a contest! It was divided into two groups: 12-15 year olds and 16-20 year olds. I have forgotten by now what the theme for my age-group was about, but the category for the elder section 'fantasy beauty' so it matched way too well... I said I was 16 years old (birthdate 16.05.1987 instead of 1989 xD) and sent it in. I didn't win of course but I made 10th/1** (can't recall the exact number... I think it was something around 120 participants in that category but again, it's been too long xD) place! YAY!! From 5th place on you got something... lol Anyway, I was REALLY proud of that back then! My class-mates always thought I was a freak because of my drawing, so it was all the more fun enerving them with that fact!! >:3 Mwahahahahaaa....

6. I started reading Clamp's X/1999, Magic Knight Rayearth, CardCaptor Sakura back then and was impressed by the small details, gems and such they put into their work. I started analyzing what exactly it was that fascinated me about their work and tried to draw my own personal MagicKnighOutfit on Ary/Alundra x3 From then on I LOVED drawing fantasy-outfits with lots of ornaments! (The birth of the Detail-Monster I'm now... lol)

7. See?? xD After trying it on Ary, I had to try it on Deamond right away as well I always loved those two guys~~~ But with this picture, I started creating more OCs. Next to Deamond in this picture stands my first try on Arisa (not visible here) but this was about the point I started writing on a story for them Especially on Ary/Alundra though. This was the birth of Essence of Time!

8.Wheeeeee!! The birth of Kreon!!! This is a small sketch on a charasheet for Ary/Alundra for the first tries on her as a chara for a story instead of the all-round-talent I made her in the beginning xD Later on in 2005/2006 (can't recall exactly) I split Kreon, the half-demon ->I created Callo out of him and later added Yuna as the demonic part of the group x3 I wish I would have been able to find the first picture of Ledah which I created in summer 2004 but somehow I couldn't find it anymore ;_; And the other sketches sucked -____-; lol

9.My first LedAry-picture ever! Aren't they sweet? Lucky for them Callo wasn't as protective back then as he is today xD Cause otherwise it would probably have been the last one >_> lol

10. I had this phase in which I drew almost only Ledah. He turned into my fav, so it was pretty clear that if I ever turned my story into a manga, he'd be the main-chara. x3 *lovelove*

11. First picture of Ameran EVER!! xD Even though a boy back then, I changed 'him' more and more into a 'girl' xD lol Poor Ameran... *pats* However with Ameran I created a story for Deamond and suddenly started working on a sequel for my main-story even though it was not worked out back then, but that made it easier to make both stories influence each other For anyone who cares: I started working on the prequel (Forgotten Journey) in the end of 2006, so Enwa's Quest (EQ) practically got created BEFORE FJ

12. THE START OF MY INTERNET-CARRIER!!! Jupp! With this picture I went online the very first time I started in a forum called Tales Universe and hell yes, I have to thank them! I owe them a lot!! I started drawing on my manga because the first time in my life someone was ACTUALLY interested in my work as manga not only as 'pretty pictures'! x3 Thanks guys! I will never forget you!

13. I got CopicCiao for Christmas 2005... and didn't try them out till March 2006 xD And even then I returned pretty fast back to colored pencils as I just hated the bleeding I was a perfectionist back then already xD Bleeding Baaaad!!! lol

14. Hehe, that's a funny one as well: In Tales Universe we had this RP: Anyone was their avis and TU was something like dotHack! A virus was causing all users to stick inside the forum with bugs and all, and the mods had to somehow fix it And I made a manga out of it! Good old times x3 Too bad the forum doesn't exist anymore ;_; For the people that know me from back then: Has anyone a clue where all the members went?! I mean, I tried to find Elemaster again but he's like... *puff* and gone O_o ;_; -__-;

15. My very first cover for EoT!!! End of 2006 here The fact that Ledah had red wings and was an enwa was a giant spoiler back then!!! xD BUT I loved hiding that fact in the cover. Can you see?? [link]

16. I'm not certain if this one was created December 2006 or January 2007... xD I uploaded it in april 2007 here on DA cause I wanted to put something up. I was on DA for about 8 weeks back then x3 YAY And hey, I wanted to show some things! However this must be the first picture I drew the whole group together in one picture (even though the age doesn't exactly fit xD Look yourself: [link] )

17. 2007 was my digital start. I got Photoshop Elements before and created backgrounds with it, but from July 2007 on I got PS CS from my father as he had got it due to his laboratory as a gift or something. Can't recall... I think it was because of ordering a laser-burner from a firm that cooperated with Adobe... Again, I can't really recall BUT I own a legal version thanks to that xD However: Started coloring charas digitally in CS with a mouse. Didn't use much shadings back then as I still had to get used to it...

18. Now we are at the point where I can clearly say I started playing the Neverland-games (Spectral Force, Generation of Chaos, Spectral Souls..) Why? Cause I LOVED their character-art and especially their colors. So I started trying to color in a way they did. And slowly I strated progressing, getting it refined again and again.

19. Deamond's first appearance on DA And beside one or two sketches probably the first appearance on the net at all x3 Learned a lot of stuff on this one. Especially the use of flow got better

20. DEAMOND VS LEDAH! YAY!! *proud proud* The one work I'm still looking back on and can only shake my head: Movement and perspective evolved so much over the years and on this piece I finally saw that all the practice paid off x3

21. My most stolen work xD LOL Whenever someone reports an arttheft to me it is in 90% of the cases this one piece! Either the lineart or the colored version LOL I have NO clue why, but hey, if you guys like it that much... xD

22. Still probably the one work I've always been the most proud of as I saw the most improvement ever Since 2008 I want to redraw Himikea each year and I hope I will manage to do it again in 2010, but as this is the favorite piece of so many of my watchers it deserves a place in this meme! ^^

23. Luna: A work on which I learned LOADS of coloring! Especially on hair! x3 I kept the main-spirit of it up until today even

24. The first time I colored the lineart! YAY!! Even though I stopped right afterward again until march 09 with Himikea xD BUT it was a start!

25. Valkyrie <3 VALKYRIE!! I LOVE HER!! Up until now I still think this is the best picture movement-wise in all of my gallery! BUT I already started a sketch to redo it again (Lets see if I can actually remake it xD)

26. The start of my wallpaper-series! YAY!! Every few weeks I change my current screen back to Zeyir for two or so days just to change to my newest work again, but it's funny that I actually return to this again and again!

27. YAY! LEDAH!! My best work this year (in my opinion) Love the colors, love the texture, love the nose (My very first good nose YAY! Did you notice that I didn't improve in body-anatomy this year at all but instead made giant steps forward on face-anatomy! Finally my eyes get on one line as it seems xD) W00T W00T!!

28. The last work of 2009... May 2010 come! I'm ready for more and curious where my story will go this year!! >:3
