Personality: Asch certainly knows how to act charming... He has learned early in his life already how to get what he wanted among the other nagas: Not by brute force which usually ended up in a blood bath, attracting seamonsters and sharks all around, but by letting his natural appeals play. If the desire to get something is just big enough, he will do anything necessary to receive it. He has no problem with commiting that either... it is his way of living and this far he survived well...

History: Born to the Naga-clan living in the waters directly around the Silent Isles, life was never easy... being a small fish in the giant sea with way too few prey for too many of his kind, cannibalism was a regular everyday thing... the strong ones ate the weak... and usually the fight of the strong left them so weak they ended up getting eaten by the weak ones... A truly weird world order... Since Nag'Asch never was one of the stronger and bigger nagas to begin with, he learned to get food and protection on different ways... always sticking to the strongest, he used his charms and words to twist his protectors around his fingers.

Hunting at Silent Isle, they often attacked ships of demons visiting the cursed island, pulling them into the depth and devouring them... however traveling on land never was an option, even though all of them knew how to turn their giant tails into legs, the Silent Isle being one of the most dangerous places of the entire world. Yet the fascination of 'land' was always present among the nagas. And those unable to withstand the curiousness anymore and dared going on land were never seen anymore, devoured by the evil spirits and monsters living on the Silent Isle...

Nag'Asch had -not an easy but at least- a rich life, switching his favorers every couple of weeks or months depending on who was the biggest fish in the pool... However things changed drastically. One day, the entire sea erupted and the streams changed from their regular ways of floating... and the sky was different all of a sudden too, What had happened? Later finding out that it was indeed the Great Eclipse taking place, the nagas began to panic, searching for shelter close to the shore of the Silent Isle. This caused Nag'Asch's current favor to lose against another female. Going his natural habits and trying to charm the new 'boss' but this woman already had a mate. Since his only choice would have been challenging said mate, Nag'Asch had no choice but to wait for this naga to lose her throne... Being without protection, the other nagas quickly aimed for him as easy prey so he had to escape the Silent Isle, for the first time leaving arean waters and traveling south where he met mermaids... weird creatures that resembled nagas, just way smaller... At first they were easy lunch but soon, Nag'Asch had to realize that his giant body needed more food than he would be able to hunt down, inexperienced in hunting alone as he was... so he needed a smaller body that needed less energy. A way smaller body. So Nag'Asch did the one thing his people had always warned him about: Setting foot on land. Turning into his human form, the young naga walked up the sandy shore, discovering that -this- island wasn't dangerous at all! The Mermaid Island was a quite, peaceful and colorful place, completely different from the Silent Isle! He was the biggest predator here! Declaring the Island his new territory, the naga lived in his human form on the sandy beach most of the time, taking his giant body only to prey for mermaids, and that only in the last moment... they seemed to be attracted by his looks so he let them come closer and closer to him before turning and killing them... Yes, his new life on the Mermaid Island surely was perfect~

By now Nag'Asch rarely ever shows his natural form anymore. People are afraid of it and tend to mistrust him or even attack if he shows up in his natural form... not to mention that the reefs around his home made swimming with such a giant body really hard... Also it needs way more energy and food than his small form, so why bother with his true body~

As self declared Prince of Mermaid Island, Nag'Asch has no interest in the war and whatsoever... but curious as he is, he sometimes travels away from his territory to discover new waters and the shores close by... he would never go too far away from his natural element though, always staying close to rivers, lakes or the sea.

Hydrarchos-Nagas:
Hydrarchos are a subspecies of nagas. Different from many other serpents, they don't obsess any kind of ability or poison, yet one can easily consider them as one of the strongest naga-kinds on Zion. Their brute strength is dangerous in two different ways. The either use their mighty tails to wrap themselves around their victims, pressing them to death or using the crystal like scales on the end of their tails to smash them against enemies with bone breaking force. The females in the clan usually grow taller than the males. The biggest males are around 25 meters long while most women are 30 meters long. Every now and then one grows up to 35 meters even. They live around Silent Isle in Ares, making the waters around the mysterious island just as dangerous as the land itself... Barely any of them ever strays away from their dwelling place. Cannibalism and territory-battles are rather normal among them... Only the strongest survive.


Trivia:
Asch used to be one of the the 'smallest fishes' in the waters around Silent Isle... what he still doesn't understand or rather keeps on forgetting, is that around Mermaid Isle, he's suddenly the biggest fish in the pond so to say.
The naga changes his behavior depending on the situation usually. If you own something he wants or might be of advantage for him, he will be the nicest and most charming man you ever saw... if not you are lucky if he gives you as much as a sideward glance...
If Asch sees someone stronger than him, he instantly switches to submissive mode again in order to protect himself... or running/swimming/gliding.
Needs to eat his own body weight in fish every day when in his regular body, but only as much as a regular human when in his humanoid form.
Nag'Asch's name is actually Asch. In his tribe everyone's name begins with Naga' or Nag'... The Nag'-part stands for Naga... obviously.
His weapons protect him in his human form but he isn't very good with them... the way for him to kill still is the good old naga way: Either crush your prey with your tail, your weight or by wrapping yourself around them and pressing them to mousse...
Needless to say that he can breath under water, using his gills there... on land he breaths air through his mouth though.
Eating mainly fish since that is his natural prey, as well as mermen, smaller naga, etc... but won't decline a piece of meat either. Hates to have to eat veggies though...
